Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) General Santos City has officially launched the Rapid Land Tenure Appraisal in Polomolok, South Cotabato on February 8, 2022, where Brgy. Polo was the first barangay to be assessed.

PENR Officer Shalimar A. Disomangcop extended his gratitude to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Polomolok for their unwavering support in the agency’s projects, further adding that partnership with LGU Polomolok is highly vital to RLTA’s success as the latter holds first-hand the indispensable knowledge regarding their constituents as well as the land status within their territorial jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, OIC-CENRO GeSan Elmer S. Mercado discussed the salient features of RLTA, emphasizing how the activity facilitates land titling which will, later on, encourage further developments and investments within the Municipality of Polomolok.

Before the said appraisal, a Cascading Activity was carried out on January 19, 2022, attended by Hon. Antonio Octavio, South Cotabato OIC PENR Officer Shalimar A Disomangcop, OIC CENR Officer GenSan Elmer S. Mercado, OIC Municipal Assessor of Polomolok, Dolores Busgano, Barangay Captains of Polomolok, as well as personnel from DENR XII and CENRO GenSan.
