The DENR Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Kiamba in Sarangani Province led the planting of 328 mangrove propagules on Friday morning (January 19) in a coastal area of Barangay Kiambing, Maitum town, in partnership with the barangay and municipal local government units.
CENR Officer Felix D. Robles stated that the planting of mangroves has several benefits that address ecological, economic, and social aspects while contributing to the overall well-being of coastal ecosystems and communities.
