𝑲𝒐𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒐 – After 40 years of public service, the Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer (CENRO) of Matalam Abunawas B. Abduladsis, Al-Haj bid farewell to DENR through the recent Salamat, Mabuhay Program hosted by Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Matalam.
CENRO Abunawas who is fondly called by his colleagues as Bonnie started working in DENR on October 3, 1983 as a casual forester. For him, receiving a promotion was difficult but a rewarding experience as he never gave up and continued to demonstrate his willingness to work hard which resulted in his promotion to Forester III. With years of expertise and dedication to his work, he eventually became a CENR officer in November of 2013.
Also present during the program were some of the DENR-12 key officials composed of its Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services (ARD-TS) Engr. Mama G. Samaon, Assistant Regional Director for Management Services (ARD-MS) Maria Elvira V. Lumayag, Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) - 12 Regional Director Omar M. Saikol, some Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officers (PENROs), some Community Environment and Natural Resources Officers (CENROs), former ARD-MS Mamutur D.
