𝑲𝒐𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒐 - The Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Matalam together with Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Cotabato conducted Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) of the People's Organization of Kahugpungang Mag-uuma sa Sto. Niño Magpet (KAMASANMA) on November 22 at Brgy. Sto. Niño, Arakan, Cotabato.
The HGDG sought to address gender issues or gaps that will result in the creation of mitigation measures for the implementation of projects and activities within the organization, to achieve gender equality and women empowerment as well as to incorporate gender considerations into development programs and projects. HGDG is also a tool which to ensures that the programs and projects undertaken by the department are gender responsive at all level.
Members of KAMASANMA identified and evaluated their level of gender responsiveness within their Peoples Organization on their projects during the activity, ensuring effective implementation in accordance with Gender and Development principles.
