In line with the simultaneous conduct of the Community Passion (ComPassion) Project and celebration of National Children’s Month, DENR 12 Career Service Executives demonstrated their commitment to the environment and exhibited passion for the community by donating hygiene kits and conducting a Dalaw Turo session in Koronadal City’s Bahay Pag-asa on November 14.
The Dalaw Turo featured informative presentations and interactive activities meticulously designed to raise awareness on critical subjects such as environmental conservation, biodiversity, and the significance of proper solid waste management.
Furthermore, the Career Service Executives exhibited their dedication to the health and well-being of children by providing hygiene kits of essential items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, alcohol, mouthwash, slippers and other personal hygiene products to the residents of Bahay Pag-asa.
Key figures present at the event included the Regional Executive Director of DENR 12, Atty. Felix S. Alicer, Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Maria Elvira V. Lumayag, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Engr. Mama G. Samaon, representatives from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau 12 and Environmental Management Bureau 12, City Social Welfare and Development Officer Jennifer Magbanua, South Cotabato PENR Officer Radzak B.
