𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐑-𝟏𝟐 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐈𝐀-𝟏𝟐, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐍-𝐒𝐎𝐗 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐄𝐂 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

𝑲𝒐𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒐 - The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) – 12 through its Regional Strategic Communications and Initiatives Group (RSCIG) spearheaded an information education and communication (IEC) meeting with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – 12 and the Information Coordinating Network – SOCCSKARGEN (ICON-SOX) to discuss future partnerships on the promotion of DENR-12 Special Events on October 12 at the agency's mini-conference room.

RSCIG presented the best practices and yearly special events celebrated by DENR-12 during the meeting.

Assistant Regional Director for Management Services (ARD-MS) Ma. Elvira V. Lumayag expressed her gratitude to PIA-12 and ICON-SOX for helping the department spread information about its special events, initiatives, projects, and activities which are vital for raising public awareness of environmental preservation and protection.

In response, regional director for PIA-12 Fryan E. Abkilan, and president of ICON-SOX Hanah G. Naanep both pledged their support for DENR-12's initiatives and programs.
