𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐑 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐋𝐆𝐔-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢

The DENR Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Kiamba in Sarangani Province joined the planting of 260 seedlings of various tree species on Thursday (Sept. 21) spearheaded by the local government unit (LGU) of Kiamba in line with the celebration of Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Week.

A total of 67 participants from DENR, LGU-Kiamba, and Golden State College, Inc. took part in the said greening efforts conducted at the portion of the LGU’s sanitary landfill in Barangay Kapate which is currently being proposed as a communal forest.
