he Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region XII in coordination with the DepEd-School Division of South Cotabato, conducted an environmental lecture on DENR Tayo Ang Kalikasan, Climate Change, and the Role of Youth in Environmental Protection this Tuesday, September 19 at Sto. Niño National High School.
At least eighty-two (82) students from Sto. Niño NHS actively participated in the discussions and joined the post-activities at the said event.
Meanwhile, Principal II, Ms. Leolyn A. Simora extended her heartfelt gratitude to the DENR for organizing and selecting Sto. Niño NHS to be the recipient of the environmental lecture.
Resource speakers from the Regional Strategic Communication and Initiatives Group (RSCIG) and Regional Youth Desk Office (RYDO) discussed topics on Tayo ang Kalikasan, Disaster Preparedness and Response, Climate Change and Its Effects, Relevant Environmental Laws and the Role of Youth in Environmental Protection.
