
𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐆, 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 – A Pinsker's hawk-eagle (Nisaetus pinskeri) that was rescued by a concern citizen on August 3, was released on Friday (August 4) at Brgy. Limulan of this town by the personnel of DENR Community Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO) of Kalamansig.
CENR Officer Iskak G. Dipatuan said the eagle was turned over to former DENR-12 ARD for Technical Services and the current Kalamansig Municipal ELCAC Focal Person Ma. Socorro C. Lanto while conducting an outreach program with Deputy Commander of Sultan Kudarat PMAJ Leonel V. Delasan and Police Mobile Force Company. To ensure the proper care and handling of the eagle, they immediately surrendered the wildlife to the CENRO Kalamansig.
Based on the examination conducted by field office, the female eagle is healthy and fit to return to its natural habitat. It was released on Friday afternoon at Brgy. Limulan by CENRO Kalmansig personnel headed by the Protect Area Management and Biodiversity Conservation Unit Chief Forester Radzmin Abdullah.
