𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨 - The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) - Water Resources Utilization Section spearheaded a meeting with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 12 to discuss the status of Solar Water System Projects today, July 26 at the DENR Conference Room, Koronadal City.
 
The main goal of the discussion is to outline all of the requirements for solar water projects as well as the challenges the DPWH has had in carrying out its projects with the necessary permits from the DENR.
 
In his message, DENR Regional Executive Director (RED) Atty. Felix S. Alicer emphasized the department's goal of having a comprehensive image of every water system in the area. “We must first identify your issues in order to come up with solutions. I'm hoping for a more fruitful collaboration," he said.
 
RED Alicer also recommended designating a district-level focal person for the Solar Water System Project in order to continue discussing related issues in the future.
 
Meanwhile, DPWH Assistant Regional Director Rosie C. Javate expressed her gratitude for being given the opportunity to give an update on the status of their projects. District engineers from the four provinces in the region were given ample time to relay their complied and lacking requirements including their queries.
 
Said meeting was also attended by a representative from ARD for Technical Services Mama G. Samaon, Licenses Patents and Deeds Division (LPDD) Chief Emily B. Ampatuan, Assistant LPDD Chief Engr. Francisco Mancera, Water Resources Utilization Section (WRUS) Chief For. Maisara D. Batuampar, Development Management Officer II Mely A.
