𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: DENR-12 Regional Executive Director Atty. Felix S. Alicer on Sunday, June 25 has officially declared the DENR Sports Festival 2023 in Koronadal City open as part of the department’s month-long celebration of this year’s Philippine Environment Month.

RED Alicer said that the sports festival is one way to develop teamwork and promote camaraderie among the DENR-12 personnel which can be translated in the performance of their duties and responsibilities in their respective workplaces.

“We are here to come together, communicate, and create a bond with our teammates. The teamwork that we are trying to promote here is the same teamwork that we need when we return to our respective workplaces which will help us improve the delivery of DENR services to the public,” he said.

The players from DENR-12 regional and field offices together with the two line bureaus, the EMB and MGB, will compete in various events such as zumba, basketball, volleyball, bowling, badminton, table tennis, and board games for this year’s sports festival. | 𝐑𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐆𝐌 and 𝐑𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐆𝐕
