𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐬𝐤𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The members of the Soccsksargen Environmental Protection Task Force (SEPTF) have convened on June 16 in Koronadal City during the SEPTF 2nd Quarter Meeting to discuss several matters concerning the implementation of environment and natural resources (ENR) laws in the region.

DENR-12 Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services and SEPTF Vice-Chair Engr. Mama G. Samaon presided over the meeting and stressed the critical roles being played by the SEPTF members in combating the serious threats of environmental crimes in the society.

“Our mission is to contain the environmental crimes, not only the illegal logging, but also the illicit wildlife trade and unlawful dumping of wastes in Region 12. We need to work together and develop strategies to solve these issues,” he said.

Various member-agencies also presented their 2023 first semester accomplishments in implementing the ENR laws in the Region 12. | 𝐑𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐆𝐌
