𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐑 𝟏𝟐 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑

𝐊𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨 – Officials and employees of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR) 12 cheerfully celebrated their Family Day on June 14 through the conduct of various games and activities held at the department’s quadrangle.

Regional Executive Director (RED) Atty. Felix S. Alicer led the signing of the pledge for the environment at the start of the program. Said environmental pledge wall aims to rally in support for the advocacy on the #beatplasticpollution campaign.

In preparation for the Lutong Pinoy competition, DENR regional divisions and line bureaus creatively prepared their own tables. This was then followed by a pamilyang salo-salo wherein all DENR employees including those who are from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) and Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) shared a meal through a “Budol Fight”.

The celebration continued with games such as Pinoy Henyo, Chinese Garter, Maria Went to Town, Patintero, sack race, dodgeball, and amazing race which aims to foster sportsmanship and camaraderie among the employees.

Also present in the said celebration were the two Assistant Regional Directors Engr. Mama G. Samaon and For. Mamutur Cariga, MGB-12 Regional Director Engr. Efren B. Carido, EMB-12 Regional Director Engr. Omar M. Saikol, division and section chiefs, and all regional and line bureau employees. | 𝐑𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐆𝐏
