𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐑 𝐗𝐈𝐈 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐇𝐑𝐌 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋 𝐈𝐈

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region XII has been conferred with Bronze Award for the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) today, March 28 at the DENR 3rd Floor Conference Hall.

Regional Executive Director Atty. Felix S. Alicer and ARD for Management Services, For. Mamutur D. Cariga received the award from CSC Acting Director III Teresita R. Antolin

ARD Cariga assured the Civil Service Commission (CSC) 12 that the DENR shall continue to sustain its compliance to improve the HRM system.

“This award will remind us to extend extra effort to meet the maturity indicator of the next higher level. I am confident that with our collective efforts and the untiring support of our partners including the CSC, we can possibly beat the impossible in providing efficient and effective services to the Filipino people”, he said.

The conferment of the Bronze Award signifies that DENR has exemplified a process-defined human resource management in all the four core HRM systems under the enhanced PRIME-HRM namely (1) recruitment, selection, and placement; (2) learning and development; (3) performance management; and, (4) rewards and recognition.

Meanwhile, Director Teresita R. Antolin congratulated the DENR for their efforts in complying with all the requirements of PRIME HRM.

“Your strengthened workforce, supported with better systems of recruitment, selection and placement, performance management, learning and development and rewards and recognition is now more competently equipped to deliver excellent public service”, she said.

The awarding was followed by an orientation on PRIME HRM Level II Accreditation given by Director Antolin.

Present at the event is the DENR Administrative Division Chief, Iki M. Ontawar, CSC personnel together with their Chief Human Resource Specialist Mariann Amabelle C. Salcedo, DENR 12 Division Chiefs and other employees. PENROs and CENROs also joined the awarding via Zoom platform. | RSCIGP
