A total of 175 personnel of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) XII received their certificates of completion in a graduation rite being held today at Cinco Ninas Resto, Koronadal City for successfully completing the requirements of the ENR Academy Frontline and Basic Courses.

The ENR Academy is a specialized competency development program designed to augment knowledge gaps, calibrate understanding of ENR laws, and sharpen proficiencies of DENR employees to improve the delivery of service to the public.

Graduates of frontline courses were from Magilas Class 109, Dalisay Class 108 and Maringal Class 107 whereas basic course graduates are from Gallant Class 208 and Tenacious Class 207.

Regional Executive Director Atty. Felix S. Alicer highlighted the importance of going beyond what the graduates have learned and practicing it in their respective workplaces. โAfter the training, some tend to forget all the concepts and ideas they absorbed but I hope you continue to nurture whatever knowledge you got and continue to apply it in your jobsโ, he said.

The conduct of ENR Academy courses for DENR XII was spearheaded by the department thru its Human Resource and Development Section (HRDS) in a bid to constantly pursue the vision of excellence in the fields of forestry, lands, environment, mines, and geosciences, protected areas, wildlife, and water.

Meanwhile, certificates of appreciation and tokens were given to the learning service providers (LSP) during the graduation rites.
