In her welcome remarks, Administrative Division Chief Iki M. Ontawar said that the task of investigating is challenging. โOne of the things an investigator should know is how to get the accurate facts of the case to tell what laws to apply or what case to file. If we canโt get it right, it can be compared to a doctor who diagnosed an illness erroneously which would lead to the issuance of a wrong prescriptionโ, she said.

Meanwhile, Atty. Fretzel Mae Deadio, Atty. IV of the Legal Division underscored the objectives of the said event; to train and equip the Land Investigators/Land Inspectors, to conduct investigations in accordance with DAO 2016-31 or the โProcedure in the Investigation and Resolution of Land Claims and Conflict Casesโ, identify competent and relevant evidence and to prepare and submit investigation in accordance with the Completed Staff Work (CSW) principle.

Said learning event was primarily attended by Land investigators, Land Inspectors and other personnel involved in the land sector in Regional/Provincial/Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices. |
