Six (6) employees of the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Glan were recognized and awarded for their years of selfless contribution, steadfast dedication, and service to the DENR as part of the 2022 Elderly Filipino Week commemorated every 1 to 7 of October.
With this year’s theme “Older Persons: Resilience in Nation Building,” it emphasizes the contributions of Senior Citizens in contributing to the development of the country.
CENR Officer Dr. Rosalinda B. Cortez in her message said that the Office would make sure that the awardees will be provided with a wondrous and meaningful experience before their retirement, and wishes them more healthy years as they continue to attain their duties and responsibilities in the Department.
The awards were given to employees who rendered 24 to 37 years of service to the Department.
Meanwhile, some employees were recognized for their efficient delivery of environmental programs such as LAWIN Patrol Active Responder, and others for their best attendance on Flag Ceremonies 1st Semester CY 2022.
Deputy CENRO, For. Pinky J. Maglasang, thanked everyone for the unwavering support of the employees and their vital contribution to the attainment of the department’s goals and accomplishments for the first semester. She also reminded everyone of the remaining targets for the 4th Quarter and encouraged them to continue pursuing growth and excellence.
