
The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Cotabato conducted a โWeek of Wellness talks on Healthโ from September 12 to 16, 2022.

PENR Officer Renato C. Domingo in his message stressed the importance of the activity to encourage a healthy lifestyle through physical activity, nutrition and mental well-being to keep the body in good condition.

โObtaining physical wellness allows you to nurture personal responsibility for your own health and this is very important in delivering services to the public,โ he said.

The event was composed of four parts, namely: ๐๐ช๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ด๐ต ๐๐ฆ๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ต ๐๐ฐ๐ด๐ฆ ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ (๐๐ถ๐ต๐ณ๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ช๐ฆ๐ต), ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ถ๐ต๐บ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐บ๐จ๐ช๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฆ, ๐๐บ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ-๐๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ฐ๐ฏโ๐ต ๐๐ฆ๐ด๐ช๐ต๐ข๐ต๐ฆ-๐๐ฆ๐ตโ๐ด ๐๐ข๐ค๐ค๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ.

Through these activities, employees were coached on the proper and nutritional diet meal, granted a free haircut, manicures and pedicures, an eye assessment and examination and a chance for a flu vaccine.

The event was graced by Dietitian Abel T. Rizardo, Dr. Christian Jane De Vera of EyeCentrics, Kidapawan and Dr. Thaddeus M. Averilla of the COVID Isolation Unit of Kidapawan.

A Zumba presentation participated by PENRO Cotabato employees and personnel were also conducted to culminate the week-long Health and Wellness activity.
