DENR—𝟏𝟐 welcomes March through celebrating National Women’s Month 2022

KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO – The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) XII welcomed the month of March with a short program relative to the celebration of 2022 National Women’s Month during the Monday flag-raising ceremony on March 7, 2022 at the DENR XII Quadrangle.

 

This year's celebration carries the theme: “We Make Change Work for Women.” This was highlighted as the Regional Office key officials and male employees gave roses to the female employees to signify respect and gratitude for the contribution of women in the workplace.

 

Regional Executive Director (RED) Atty. Felix S. Alicer emphasized in his message that men should support women in the workplace.

 

Also present in the program were Assistant Regional Directors for Management Services (ARD-MS) For. Mamutur Cariga, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services (ARD-TS) Engr. Mama G. Samaon, Environmental Management Bureau - XII (EMB-XII) Regional Director Engr. Omar M. Saikol, Mines and Geosciences Bureau - XII (MGB-XII) Regional Director Engr. Efren B. Carido together with DENR XII staff and employees.

 

Said activity was simultaneously conducted via online platform along with the Provincial/Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices (PENROs and CENROs). #WomensMonth2022
