Relative to the month-long celebration of the 120th Founding Anniversary of Land Management Bureau with the theme: "Overcoming Hurdles and Surpassing Boundaries on Land Administration and Management through Digital Transformation”, the DENR XII through the Regional Strategic Communications and Initiatives Group (RSCIG) conducted a virtual orientation on Land Titling and Other Land Matters on September 22, 2021, via zoom platform.
 
In his opening message, Regional Executive Director (RED) Atty. Felix S. Alicer emphasized the roles of DENR and Land Management Bureau (LMB) in terms of the land titling process and other land matters.
 
Meanwhile, for the Lecture Proper, DENR XII Licenses, Patents and Deeds Division (LPDD) Chief Emily B. Ampatuan discussed the general information about land titling, guideline, and procedure, and differentiation between land administration and management.
 
Also, Special Investigator II of LPDD, Mr. Rajiv Macamimis presented the Legal Policies and Institutionalization. Lastly, Surveys and Mapping Division Engr. Tajoden A. Naga presented the Land Administration and Management System (LAMS), and its digital transformation.
 
The virtual lecture on the said topics laid down the significance of title registration to facilitate transactions of land, to protect property rights, and to enable land to be used as collateral in businesses.
