The Department of Environment and Natural Resource (DENR) XII through its Regional Strategic Communications and Initiatives Group (RSCIG) conducted a Virtual Lecture for the month-long celebration of International Coastal Cleanup 2021 via Zoom on September 21, 2021.
 
In his opening message, Regional Executive Director (RED) Atty. Felix S. Alicer said that it is timely and relevant to discuss matters on protecting the coastal areas.
The virtual lecture was joined by participants coming from various sectors in the region.
 
During the lecture proper, DENR XII - Chief for Conservation and Development Division (CDD) Doc. Ali M. Hadjinasser, Ph.D. discussed about the background and the annual celebration of International Coastal Clean-Up Day., while Asst. PASu of Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape (SBPS), Mr. Cirilo Lagnason Jr. presented the Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape (SBPS) and the possible avenues of participation of the various sectors in the protection and conservation of coastal areas.
