The DENR XII through its Human Resource Development Section conducted a two-day Orientation for newly-hired employees last April 6-7 at Agua Frio Garden Resort, Koronadal City.
In the said orientation, the following presentations were discussed by various resource speakers: Module I: The DENR by Vicente Y. Curtiz, Chief of Planning and Management Division, Module II: Employee Duties and Responsibilities by Atty. Adjuria K. Kansi, Atty. IV of Legal Division, Module III: Employee Rights and Privileges and Module VI: Separation from Service by Iki M. Ontawar, OIC-Chief of Administrative Division, Module IV: Career and Employment Development by Marcelina G. Cabaña, Section Chief of Human Resource Development Section, Module V: Financial Matters by Gloria M. Silvederio, OIC-Chief of Finance Division, Gender and Development by Helen E. Villame, GAD Focal Person, and DENREU by Ma. Theresa C. Menor, Project Evaluation Officer III, PMD.
Meanwhile, Assistant Regional Director for Management Services (ARD-MS) Bighani M. Manipula, Ph.D. encouraged the newly-hired employees to consistently do their best with their jobs.
A total of 23 participants from the Office of the Regional Executive Director (ORED), and Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices (CENROs) of Matalam, Midsayap, Tacurong, Kalamansig, General Santos, Banga, and Glan joined the orientation.
The said initiative was conducted in the interest of the service and in order to equip and familiarize the newly-hired employees of the existing rules, regulations, guidelines, and protocols being implemented by the department. /Photos by: RJ Ebita
