DENR XII Regional Executive Director Atty. Felix S. Alicer led the Groundbreaking Ceremony of political boundary survey at Barangay Banate, Malungon town, Sarangani Province on April 7.
 
The groundbreaking marked the start of the boundary survey in barangays Talus, Kawayan, Banate and Malalag Cogon of the said town. The boundary survey will be conducted by the DENR XII Surveys and Mapping Division headed by Engr. Francisco Mancera.
 
Malungon Mayor Atty. Ma. Theresa D. Constantino reiterated her expression of gratitude to the DENR XII for choosing the four barangays as pilot sites for the conduct of boundary demarcation.
 
Present in the ceremony were Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Engr. Mama G. Samaon, Sarangani Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer Renato C. Domingo, Surveys and Mapping Division Chief Francisco Mancera, Malungon Vice-Mayor Mariano Escalada, Jr., members of the Sanggunian and concerned barangay chairpersons.
