DENR XII takes the helm of the Regional Ecotourism Committee

(Koronadal City, 16 January 2011) – The Department of Tourism in Region XII recently handed the leadership of the Regional Ecotourism Committee (REC) to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Region XII (DENR XII) pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 111 entitled “Establishing the Guidelines for Ecotourism Development in the Philippines”.

OIC-Regional Director Jose B. Cabulanan formally transferred the responsibility of DOT XII to Dr. Noel V. Dungca who represented Regional Executive Director Alfredo S. Pascual of DENR XII in a simple rite held on January 13, 2012 in the office of the latter. Director Pascual left for Manila that day for a management conference. . . more ...
